I loved this talk...all except the part where he called our form of government a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic! Why is it so hard for people to acknowledge this?

As a former school teacher, I had many students and parents who had not read the original documents, but believed current information that was found on Google Docs or some other research on the Internet. Thank you again for this timely and powerful presentation.

These are excerpts from the obligatory pressure that President Nelson, and all of the apostles put out to be read from the pulpit. These are not Watchman on the hill if they mislead the public on something so critical and vital when they should have stood up and said to anyone, ask them questions about their response to Covid “ I am an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ and here to testify of Christ. People can sort out their own medical decisions. We are not here to obligate members to engage in medical decisions that violate their conscience and afford all members, body autonomy and medical freedom. Our own choices are nothing but our own.” Instead we got this: Hard to reconcile the lies or ignorance sent out as a mass prescription to all members including kids: “We want to do all we can to limit the spread of these viruses. 🚨”We know that protection from the diseases they cause can ONLY [oh really?!] be achieved by immunizing a very high percentage of the population." 🫣 not only does this shot NOT limit the spread it literally enhances it. too many studies to cite. There is no such thing as "herd" immunity with THIS vaccine. it was never designed to do so or even claimed in the early trials to have this ability. the church "urging" and saying "we know" are mistruths. They could claim that it lowers symptoms and severity but that doesn’t require giving it to young healthy people who have already had Covid which was the fact for 75% of the population at that time the letter came out in AUG 2021. But then there would be no point in pushing all these mandates because the shot could be used basically as a therapeutic for those who are vulnerable and since it doesn’t stop transmission for the recipient it wouldn’t matter if people got it or not. the only protection? What about natural immunity? this is literally primary variable that qualifies a person to have protection. these persons also do not need a shot since natural immunity protects against all the proteins on the nucleacapsid and is much more robust and comprehensive immunity even against variants. 150 studies or more prove this. Those with the shots only do not contribute to herd immunity hence the increase "need" to mask everyone regardless of getting 3 boosters or not. The first presidency has been so objectively wrong on so many angles on this topic and its very concerning the overt confidence they display in their dangerous inaccurate statements and requirements of every member, even kids. ⚡"unrelenting pandemic" no it had relented a lot by Aug 2021. death rate had decreased significantly before this letter came out as majority of the population had already natural immunity!! They were WRONG. ⚡Available vaccines have proven to be both safe and effective.” false beyond need for explanation. endless people i know personally have been damaged by the shots. not cool. 🚨⚡ “We can win this war ⚠️if everyone⚠️ will follow the wise and thoughtful recommendations of medical experts and government leaders,” 😳 They had an opportunity to distance themselves from mandatory vaccination, but didn’t.🫡 later, when members were playing for exemptions from the mandates, the church came out, the public statement saying that the doctrine and policy of the church supports vaccination vaccination mandates. Creepy 🙁 SOOOOO divisive. "if everyone".. well, its impossible to expect "everyone" to do it so we are literally set up for failure. This also harbors hostility towards those who dont join the collective and means its their fault for when their impossible expectation is not met. These medical experts are and government leaders are NOT wise. They literally stood w genocidal crazies who suppressed early treatment drugs/therapies/supplements, that could've saved 90% of the lives as the standard of care via CDC/WHO was to leave high risk people with positive tests alone for even a weeks or more and wouldn't intervene until they couldnt breath at which point they were admitted after the disease had already taken over the persons body. the church is telling us that this method of lockdowns, mask healthy young asymptomatic kids, and then as many shots as are recommended for all ages, were the ONLY means of protection. This was a failure of a course and this ignorance lead to the unnecessary deaths of millions of members and people worldwide. President Nelson's course of care, including multiple vaccines for everyone at every age regardless of natural immunity status, has damaged more hearts than he ever saved as a surgeon. how do i reconcile all these lies and the condescending hostility towards individualism, freedom, liberty, health, etc? There is no hidden magical meaning in the directives they keep pushing. its damaging and wrong. making everyone wear masks in church even after the local government in utah recinded mask mandates etc, shows how its not just them "following blindly the laws of the land" they are literally doing more pointless and counterproductive measures on their own! worst of all they have said that the church does in fact support "mandatory vaccination." first off they dont have the knowledge that this shot doesn't qualify as a "vaccine" in that it doesnt provide immunity in the majorty of people and most definitely doesn't prevent a person from catching then spreading the virus. theres been an abundance of info on these facts long before their first presidency message back in aug 2021, but they clearly were completely aloof. they literally verbalized that the shot was a godsend and that it would slow the spread... How can i trust them with critical topics if they portray their ineptitude and failed judgment as inspired?

It’s good to hear church leaders talk about the Constitution. Now if we could only get the brethren to discuss our freedoms or the lack there of like Captain Moroni that would be welcomed.

Thank you Ensign College and Elder Callister! I can’t remember when I last said The Pledge of Allegiance. Where in society does that opportunity exist? If we lose the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence will not be far behind.

The diversion to Columbus, was not very helpful, as Jefferson did refer to a wall of separation. To the phraseology of that day, however, Roger Williams referred to "When they [the Church] have opened a gap in the hedge or wall of separation between the garden of the church and the wilderness of the world ..." where the wall of separation was for protecting the church.

I’m a Mormon. We should believe the Scriptures, not man. And the Scriptures testify the Mormon Church is the only true Church of Jesus Christ on earth. But if something is taught that can't be verified by Scripture, think twice about believing it. I understand why so many people are leaving the church. Many false doctrines exist causing countless UA-cam videos and other comment mediums to mock Mormonism. False doctrines like grandpa gods, (God the Father has a father) Mormons becoming gods of their own planets, Adam helped create the earth, Christ and Satan are brothers, God the Father has rarely spoken in Scripture, The spirit world is here on earth, The African Americans were bad in the pre-existence; all of which no Scripture verifies. And each Sunday the Sacrament is tainted because only Elders and Priests can administer but the Deacons prepare/administer, and Teachers pass/administer the Sacrament. (D&C 20:57) And the Lord says, He’s bound when we do what He says but if we don’t, there is no promise. (D&C 82:10) …that the scriptures might be fulfilled; for ye shall do according to that which is written. (D&C 24:14) And we wonder why there’s depression, mental illness and other unspeakable events among us? And many are leaving the Church because if you don't fit the mold the Church leaders sculpture, you're not a part of their click. Mormons believe Church leaders over Scripture. The zealous believers have the Church leaders in mind with everything thing they think say and feel testifying to impress others how much they believe the current Church leaders are God-inspired. I’ve talked with Church members who think they have some kind of spiritual connection to these men (Church leaders) even claiming these men verify in their talks personal revelations. But the Scriptures reveal the Church leaders are the problem with the entire Planet. For example, In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 we are informed of a person revealed as the son of perdition. This son of perdition sits in the temple of God making himself God or above all that is called God. Therefore, if the Mormon Church is the only true Church, then the only person 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 could be talking about is the current Mormon prophet. For what other church is the one and only true Church with temples? And Joseph Smith taught a son of perdition can only be a Church member holding all the rights of God's priesthood and using the priesthood against God, as did Judas and shed innocent blood. Therefore, who else other than the current Mormon prophet could the apostle Paul be speaking of? Please answer if you can? It's as plain as the nose on a face. And God in the Doctrine and Covenants tells us about the current Church leaders and how displeased He is saying the end of this world will begin among them. (D&C 112:23-26) and the 12 blaspheme His name in the mist of His house. God Himself tells us these men are heinous. But members ignore God's true words in Scripture because it's easier to aspire to Church leadership casting God behind. Joseph Smith taught the false doctrine of grandpa gods (God the Father has a father) not over the pulpit as a prophet but as a sermon at a funeral, which should not be taken as Scripture fulfilling God’s sayings to Paul, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (2 Thessalonians 2:11) That they might be damned who believed not the truth. (2Thessalonians 2:12) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (Revelation 13:7) (D&C 112:23-26) And the current Mormon prophet as the son of perdition has all the saints believing God our Heavenly Father was created by a being greater than Himself but Scripture says there is no greater than our God. (Hebrews 6:13) Therefore, the son of perdition has all the saints breaking the first commandment God gave Moses, Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3) Does it make sense to reasonable thinking that God would command we have no other gods before Him but really there are? We shouldn't know this because God doesn't want us thinking He's not as great as He says He is? There’s a reason He commanded to have no other gods before Him. Because by believing in false grandpa gods the saints believe our God is an infinitely lesser God putting Lucifer before God. And the moment we put a god before our God, our God becomes an infinitely lesser God. How couldn't He? when there are infinitely more gods before Him? Can you answer? Not only that, our God also becomes a liar. He and the Scriptures say He is the Greatest of All! He and the Scriptures says He is the Most High God! He and the Scriptures say He created all things! And in the Scriptures He frequently says there are no gods beside Him. (Isaiah 44:6) (Isaiah 44:8) (Isaiah 45:22) (Hebrews 6:13) Therefore, the saints believing there are gods before Him is the saints believing the son of perdition or the current Mormon prophet over the Scriptures and calling God and the Scriptures a lie. And Isaiah warns, Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20) The saints call the son of perdition (President Nelson) good and good (Jesus Christ) evil. Because President Nelson says Christ and His Father are liars and fosters the false doctrines. Peter, John, Paul, Alma, Nephi, Lehi, Jacob and all the canonized prophets would not allow false doctrines from the Adversary, but President Nelson does. President Nelson says Christ did not create all things. (John 1:1-3) Matter/energy cannot be created or destroyed the scientists say therefore the son of perdition or President Nelson says the grandpa gods created these calling Christ and the Scriptures a lie. Well did Abinadi warn the wicked king Noah and his priests, Have ye taught this people that they should observe to do all these things for to keep these commandments? (Mosiah 13:25) I say unto you, Nay; for if ye had, the Lord would not have caused me to come forth and to prophesy evil concerning this people. (Mosiah 13:26) And what is the commandment Abinadi taught that the people do not obey? Thou shalt have no other God before me. (Mosiah 12:35) Know ye not that I speak the truth? Yea, ye know that I speak the truth; and you ought to tremble before God. (Mosiah 12:30) And it is a false doctrine to say God our Heavenly Father has rarely spoke to us in Scripture. (3 Nephi 27:26), (3 Nephi 24:1). (2 Nephi 31:20), (2 Nephi 31:11) (D&C 49:20) Beware of the doctrine of the scribes and Pharisees, which are today’s Church leaders. (Matthew 16:6-12) Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. (Matthew 16:12) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. (Matthew 23:15) And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 8:11-12)

Please just stop pushing this nonsense. The book of Mormon is demonstrably untrue. No amount of "spirit" or faith, or divine voices in your head are going to make it true.

There's a great wave coming to the world these days. It's not a political wave, but it's a spiritual wave.people are in droves searching for JESUS. THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE IN ISRAEL WHO BELIEVE IN CRIST THAN DON'T.

It's your claim. Provide an abundance of compelling physical evidence. There is none. Zip Nada Zilch. Feelings aren't evidence. Theories aren't evidence. I want actual locations, archaeology, artifacts, DNA, steel, horses, language... anything real. There is NO physical evidence. Divinely inspired fan fiction is pathetic mental gymnastics. You keep using the word "Gold" I'm not sure you are correctly using that term. The reason 7 out of 10 Mormons are inactive is because Mormonism is a boring joke due to failed wannabes like this guy. Here are a few meaningful phrases for you to ponderize. "If the church wasn't true, would you want to know?"
